Managerial
finance consists of two inter-related decisions of investment and financing. The
former deals with capital theory and its application to capital budgeting
under uncertainty. The latter deals with financial leverage, the cost of
capital, dividend policy and valuation. Leasing and other instruments of
long-term financing, growth through mergers and the holding company, as well
as reorganization and bankruptcy are also included.
